The Socccer Knoxville Manifesto

The purpose of this blog is simple. Capture all knowledge of soccer in the Knoxville area. The reasons are simple.

First, I do not believe that soccer is adequately covered or reported in our area. It is hard for the local papers to give full coverage to the extensive games in the region.  With the myriad of sports, soccer tends to be the less covered sport.

Second, I am captured by an idea found while consulting at our local major newspaper; the idea of community reporting. There are noted failures of this concept, but would like to gather a set of people who will report on their teams and games (mostly objectively).

Third, there is not one place where good information is available on soccer in our area.  Hope this will develop as it.
